new cameras and miniature waffles
so, when i got up yesterday i had to go pick up my check (which was a little short for rent b/c i was gone for a week). took it to walmart to cash it, no biggie. then i met up w/beth and she got me a pass for the weekend and we just hung out and partied like rock stars. j/k.....but we did hang out and she took me to smokey bones for dinner. omg, we were full like whoa. gavin was pretty good, for the most part. he definitely ate more than i had ever seen him eat. so, our bellies swollen from bueno bbq (and chicken fried chicken *yummy), we headed back to the house where the ups guy showed up shortly after w/beth's new camera. wait, back up.....i think the camera actually came before smokey bones......irregardless, the damn thing was finally here. she had been anticipating it's arrival all week. so anyway, we decided to pack a few toys and head to my house, where we could hang out, i could feed athena, and gav could play on the swing set.
we get to my house and just kinda lounge in my room......and break out the new camera. this camera is like whoa. takes pics, video, etc. it's badass. it's like, the goliath of all cameras.
the cutest thing EVER. gavin is to the point where you can say a word and he'll repeat it. so he's said a few new things: boat, bird, etc. he can point to all of his body parts: foot, toes, eyes, ears, etc. but his newest word is the one that makes me smile the most: may. that's me. he can't quite say manda, so it comes at as 'may' and sometimes 'mai'. cutest fucking thing EVER. makes my heart jump everytime i hear him say it.
