open for business, but out to lunch
i had a date last night....so far my only feeling on the matter is this: i hope it doesn't set the tone for the men that come and go from my life this year. perhaps that will change.
i don't really mind doubles, just means that i have more days off during the week.
i needed to clear my head about some things today, and nicotine proved to be the only answer. gotta love marlboro lights....
i had yet another dream about being chased. it seems to be a reoccuring theme in my dreams. luckily, i was able to get a hold of greg and he helped me analyze it.
i feel as if i tend to over analyze things......a lot. don't know why, but it's always been that way.
went to lunch w/beth today......coulda swore that gavin said 'manda' a few times. of course it came out sounding something like, 'mana'....he's so adorable.
my long time friend stephanie, from the days of ESU, is engaged. congrats, man!
christie came by work tonight and brought my last check from the trap. not much, but better than nothing. it was good to see her.
chatted w/nikki most of the evening as well......it's funny how people back home are. ya know, the kind that feed off drama and bullshit. she was telling me that some friends of hers or whatever was calling her and telling them that i was at the bar, when i was back home. omg, for some reason people still think that all that shit matters. here's a clue, for you folks that aren't actually friends of mine: no one gives a shit. fuck off.
talked to sean thornton tonight for a while too. it was good to play catch up w/him. i've missed hanging out w/him, even though i haven't seen him since the emporia days.
