Well, it's been a long time since I've updated so I thought I might as well just throw this one out there. As of January, I no longer live in San Francisco. It just didn't make sense for both
sweetmegumi and I to make the commute across the Golden Gate every day to go to work. The bridge toll is $4 dollars with Fastrak (normally it's $5) so that added up to almost $100 a month just to drive across the bridge, not to mention gas and all that other stuff. So, we decided to find a place north of the bridge. We settled into a little cottage place in the town of Mill Valley. It's a perfect location because
sweetmegumi's work is within walking distance and mine is only 15 minutes away, all on surface streets.
Now, if you know anything about Marin county, just area just north of SF and the bridge, it has a reputation of being kind of rich and snobby. Moving into Mill Valley, we put ourselves right in the center of it all too. I like to think of it as the Triforce of Pompousness between Mill Valley, Tiburon and Sausalito. I'm really hoping it doesn't rub off on us. I'm going to try to remain as nerd as possible. It really is pretty country though. It's funny because just 5 minutes north of the sparl of San Francisco, Marin is very lush, full of Redwoods and open spaces. It really is a nice change. Anyway, that's the skinny on what's new.
Oh yeah, and it was my B-Day yesterday. Big 28.
sweetmegumi setup a great birthday party/house warming party which was a lot of fun.
