Last term,
avani and I did some work on a graph-based visualization for structure in program logs. It was rejected from DSN. I was planning to revise and resubmit to WASL, the workshop on analysis of system logs. Unfortunately, there is no WASL. It's been folded in with SysML into something called
SLAM. And my topic is now significantly less on-target for the venue.
What's more, there seems to be general chaos and disorganization. The event is in two weeks, and there's no program committee and no submission form. Bah, and humbug. Probably going to submit anyway, but I wish I had a better target. Any good visualization workshops? This idea isn't entirely fleshed out.
Maybe I should just tech-report it and drop it.
