The Foxgloves' New Digs
HAUS SPAM COMMENCE
So, I was feeling a bit cramped in the home I'd built myself for the Foxgloves. Thus, even though I'd planned on at least a few generations of the family living there, they were moved to a new save file and a new house. Since I was too lazy to build an entirely new home again, the home I chose to download and use for them is the Mid-Century Legacy Home by Awesims, found here. Even though the architecture, landscaping and overall design is amazing, the interior decorating wasn't to my taste. This is just a bit of decorating spam (which I already showed off at my tumblr a few weeks ago). :)
Open-plan kitchen, formal living room, and dining room. I didn't change the layout, but I completely remodeled the kitchen.
Polly's bedroom and tiny bathroom, which are in a small building to the side of the house.
Self-explanatory.
Back in the main house, there's a study/spare bedroom stemming from the living room.
Then, a teen/young adult kind of bedroom, my favorite in the house.
Kids' rooms.
Another small outbuilding, this one for gaming/watching tv (though I failed to snap a photo of the TV on the other side of the room, oops).
Finally, some spam of the backyard gardens and pool, which I didn't really change at all from the original work, but which I loved too much to ignore.
There's also another bedroom for Florence and Royal (the very red-looking room which you can see in near the top of the above screencap), but I wasn't satisfied enough with it to show it here. There's also a garden and a basement that I didn't show.
