So, I've een waiting very patiently, which is very hard for me to do, and I haven't seen or heard any news about when this year's masquerade dvd will be available.  Did I miss something, or is it still up in the air?

So this past Arisia at the con-suite I talked to someone about Boston costumers looking for girls to display their creations. Unfortunately I promptly lost her card. Arisia's Naughty Nurses sing their song "Hey There Big Giver" to promote the weekend's Blood Drive (and Bone Marrow Registry). We got 101 pints of blood donated and more than 70 people signed up for the bone marrow registry ( Read more... )

A big Thank You to everyone who donated eyeglasses.  We collected 68 pairs of eyeglasses to donate to OneSight.

Each year, OneSight conducts Clinics in developing countries where doctors and trained volunteers provide free eye exams and recycled eyewear to thousands of people in need. Donated glasses are collected and are sent to a OneSight ( Read more... )

Now that Arisia 2010 is over and everyone has returned home, I just wanted to thank everyone for making it a great con.   We had about 2416 memberships with 2307 actual attendees.  The staff worked hard including some people taking multiple jobs to make sure everything got done.  But we couldn't have done it without all the attendees too - ( Read more... )
