I'll try, time and skill permitting, to translate this Special fully, but I don't know when it will be completed. The Ryo parts have priority, but I'll try to get to the other characters as well.

Question: What do you have to say about domestic violence?
Ryo: Domestic Violence isn't solely about the violence... how should I put it - it's something spiritual; it's when you've run into a wall.
If I can make many people, or even just one person, watch this drama and realize, "So this is what domestic violence is about... What would I do if I were suffering as he is?" then I'd be very happy. It's something simple to hope for, but simple is alright, I think.

Secondly, much as I love Ryo's Kansai-ben, it's very difficult for me to translate. *sigh* He doesn't use it much throughout this interview, but I apologize for the inaccuracy of any Kansai-ben translations.
