Ever have one of those days where you know you could get a lot done if you could just start? Today has been like that. I've stared at the pen, stared at the knitting, and then gone and done other things. I have fic in my head. I have half a vest left to do, as well as a 2nd sock that is halfway through the arch expansion (translation: halfway up the foot to the point where I do the Magic of Heel Turning and change it from a tube to a sock). I have a shawl to finish, for crying out loud!
This is not counting the fact that I still have not found a job, and need one to balance the budget. Going to try the temp agency tomorrow. Add a month's worth of receipts and such to add, as well as the checkbook to balance.
And yet, I've been reading, puttering around the laundry, and generally feeling ... adrift. It's weird. Almost like today has been out of time, even though it's not.
