Memes: Let It Never Be Said That They Were Nice Or Accurate
*coughs* I may have joined a 'sortinghat' community (as tattered_pinion so adequately put), and they are sorting me into the egotistical, selfish, materialistic, prideful, boastful and vain house. *sigh*
Apparently I was pushing for Stark. I actually think it's my strange way of typing my feelings. And... I dunno, I guess I feel misunderstood crawling in my skin. Though, I will not let it get me down! Instead maybe I will write horrible fiction. The only real problem I can see is that my main 'community' once I join will be full of selfish boastful people :P That always confused me, why sort a house into a single straight set of traits. How can one grow to become a better more varied person if they are always around people being stubborn, or being selfish or whatever. *shrugs* Oh noes! Flaws with the Harry Potter universe, maybe people will die!
Also I shouldn't have written so much, it seems the more you write the more you can be misinterpreted.
Now that I've whined, onto the more interesting bit; this allowed me to note, once again, that my talking in type is a much different... 'presentation' to me in person. Now, unlike the high-school philosopher, I am not confusing that I am 'two' different people with a 'mask' on. Rather my typing is like my arm and me in person, is like my butt. They all make up me, they are all connected, but to compare them is like saying a butt should be similar to the arm. I think I am using body parts to explain this for the obvious reasons and because I was listening to GoT last night where Arya was learning Bravos dancing, and they said the sword was her arm.
Hopefully my assignment will be fine. As usual I chose Social Linguistics, and I got impassioned about us not protecting Indigenous languages. It makes me sad, and is so glaringly obvious how hard it is to make everything right. :(
OH MAN, just been invited to Scitech. :) I wonder if I will go. I need to study... but it's Scitech. But I'm old so the stuff is not that interesting as it once was. Except the light tunnel. I love that thing.
Ergh, did I mention that I didn't get any of the books from the library because someone else had them. ;_; Oh man, I hope he likes the assignment. I sweated into it. :D
Umm, baking. Anyone have any super recipes for quiche? I'm planning to make tiny ones that I got out of the Woolworths magazine.
God telling you about things is boring. I bet you hate this. Writing in a journal feel so self absorbed. I guess that's why I like Twitter ^_^, you're only posting short things that can't possibly annoy people. And usually you have to cut out the lame parts because you only have 140 characters.
Haha, reaps only just got around to getting us into a relationship on Facebook.
New Monkey island game. I... I know it will be bad. But I can't help being excited.
I really want to bake more. Muffins are needed.
I keep crying when Arya talks about Nymeria. And when I think about Lady. It must because I am not getting enough sleep. :( Westerous will break my heart yet.
[Also, Bran can be bratty when he wants to be, but it's only because no one is in Winterfall who he respects who can tell him to be happy and not sad.]
Also, does anyone think that Dani's wedding night didn't seem to fit? Unless it's tradition to be nice to the bride ONLY on the wedding night? It's hard to explain without being explicit or overly spoliery. Not that anyone can be spoiled because you probably have all read them.
