Ooh...interesting! This does redeem Ellen in its way, while casting Roslin in an ever so much darker light.

It does, doesn't it? And I must admit, I kinda like a darker Roslin.... *veg*

Dearest, dearest ariestess,

I came across this a few days back but have only just commented and for that I am very sorry. Because this is such a great Ellen/Roslin fic.

I like how you've delved deeper into the characters and how Ellen's simplicity contrasts starkly (and interestingly) with Roslin's darker, more elaborate side. It's wonderful to see these two put together in situation in which they have little choice and where decisions have to be made for the greater good of humanity. Indeed, "the end justifies the means" phrase is one aptly put in this story.

But the dimensions you've incorporated into these two, especially the fact that it was Roslin who asked her to seduce Cavil, does put Ellen in a more favorable light. And it makes Roslin all the more delicious, and complicated as a character.

Thanks so much for writing my request. :) What a wonderful bit of BSG writing. Ellen has always been intriguing for me and though I haven't written her character, I'm so glad you have. Cheers!

PS. I do like the story very much!

I'm so very glad you liked the story!

For as difficult as it was sometimes to keep this story going, I really am glad I wrote it. Anything that allows me a chance at a meatier Roslin, I jump at it. But the addition of a "meatier" and definitely more selfless Ellen Tigh was just icing on the cake, you know?
