morrigans_eve gave me the following questions ::
- A favorite day dream?
Oh, I have lots of daydreams. Most of my favorites involve random "what if" situations, typically surrounding winning the lottery or my latest fannish crushes/lust objects...
- If you had an unlimited budget and no travel restrictions, where would you like to travel and why?
Glastonbury Tor, Santorini, Scotland, the Orkneys, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Isreal... The list is kind of endless, actually. There are just so many places I want to see that I've read about or seen on television.
- Does your personal faith affect how you interact with the world around you?
I think it does. I was far more blatant and "in your face" about it in the past, I think, but that was also when I was seriously into the ceremonial aspects of my beliefs. Now, I'm more spiritual than religious, and I've dropped a lot of the more ceremonial aspects of my beliefs. I still have a strong relationship with my chosen deities, and I do my best to revere nature, the earth, and its creatures, but I don't deal with a lot of the physical trappings. It's just how I've adjusted over the years. There's a possibility that I will go back to the more ceremonial aspects of my beliefs, but I can't say when or where. I just do what I can to live the best possible life I can and have it affect those around me as positively as possible.
- Do you have a favorite song?
My favorite song can change with my mood, to be completely honest. But my very first favorite song ever was Christopher, Mr. Christopher by Styx. There's just something about that song that speaks to me. Plus, there's the fact that they basically de-canonized Saint Christopher the year I was born, so I feel drawn to him somehow.
- Which crafts do you enjoy?
Crochet, calligraphy, doodling/sketching, beading, jewelry, making ATCs, cross stitch... I'm sure there's something else that I'm forgetting. Like coloring in coloring books! Shut up! That is so a craft. *g*
- A book you'd recommend to read.
Well, I was going to say the entirety of the Wicked Years saga by Gregory Maguire, but that's four books, so I would have to say Mary, Called Magdalene by Margaret George. It's a fascinating look into Mary Magdalene, whom I have a major fascination for...
- A talent you wish you had?
I wish I could draw better than I do. I really would like to be able to have fantastic drawing skills, as I want to draw/paint the images I see in my head. But my skills are not so good...
