It has been a day...
Friday the 13th tag team tarot draw tomorrow from 1100-1530 PST. Be there! *g*

Seems we're in for a cold spell over the next week or so. Oh goody... Snow, rain, freezing temps. Joy!
After having some very strange dreams last night, I ended up getting up at about 0730. I should be really tired right now, but I'm not. *shrugs* I'll probably have fucked up dream again tonight, too... Upon getting up, I had a list of 3 or 4 things on my "must get done today" list.
Got started on the crochet pattern for testing. All I knew at the time was that it was amigurumi-based, that's all. And I couldn't quite tell by the pattern what it would be, so just started working on it. I didn't weave in any ends, as I was using a color that was okay, but not necessarily anything I'd want to keep. Plus, without knowing what the pattern was for, I wasn't sure I wanted to keep it anyway.
It was very sunny and relatively clear today, even if it was cold as hell. We hovered around freezing or a few degrees above all day. Even now, it's 33F at 2314 PST. When we went to do our little bit of grocery shopping around 10-ish, we got to see a breathtaking view of the Olympics. *sighs happily* The Cascades were also out, but they weren't nearly as pretty as the Olympics. There was some low lying fog over in Seattle, as we weren't able to see Seahawk Stadium Century Link Field, but we could see the Cascades behind it. *shrugs* Welcome to Western Washington weather.
Once back, I finished the amigurumi. It ended up being the I Dream of Jeannie bottle, or something based on it. It was cute, but not worth keeping in that particular shade of green, so I took a couple pics, then frogged it out. I sent my beta notes to the pattern maker, then decided that I might make it down the line again, but I'm not sure. Below is a pic of the one I made before I frogged it out.
I did manage to get the FSAC :: DW11 award graphics finalized. They're currently waiting to be uploaded to SSP along with the voting results page. That'll all be done tomorrow. I'd planned to do it all today, but after I posted up my feedback and got the graphics done, things kind of went sideways IRL and the rest of the day was pretty much a wash. To say that I have been feeling shitty is a major understatement.
I did make mac and cheese for dinner tonight, and
shatterpath added some steamed cauliflower to the meal. And then I also got to call will_i_am_oak tonight to wish him a happy 11th birthday. Can't wait to see him again in a little over a week.
That's pretty much been my night. I should head to bed soon, as we have the Friday the 13th tag team tarot readings tomorrow with
