Yep, day #4 with this blasted migraine shit. Thankfully, it appears to finally be going the fuck away. I'm FINALLY feeling normal again. And I couldn't be happier! Still glad to be going to the Doctor-Man on Monday to get things squared away.
So I've been doing some thinking... Over
here, Llewellyn's Astrology blog was talking about the "Theme Card for the Year". So I've had this set aside for the last couple of days in a tab until I had time to think. Apparently that's tonight. I've done similar set-ups to this one before. It's actually a really interesting way to look at how your life has gone. So, I used the links from the wiki on
the Major Arcana for my info.
My birth year equated out to a 5, which is the
Hierophant. This basically boils down to religion, orthodox theology, and traditional education. And growing up, I was all about church and school. They were my escapes in a lot of ways. I'll be doing some more thinking on this, but this is a good start. For 2010, I get a 10, which is the
Wheel of Fortune, which boils down to elements of change and random chance. Which means that 2010 is going to be a year of change for me. Hopefully for the better...
Then I did this same info for
shatterpath. Her birth year comes down to 21, the
World, and signifies completeness, the ending of a cycle in life, and the pause before the next cycle begins. From what I know of her, this makes sense. And 2010 for her is 7, the
Chariot, and signifies conquest, a battle to be won. Which also sounds like a good thing...
So here's hoping 2010 is a good year for us...
And I've been a major fool and signed up for some writing challenges. My main issue right now is trying to decide what I want to do for
au_bigbang. I've got a little time to make a decision, but I am hitting a brick wall as to what fandom I want to work in... and what AU of said fandom to do. If anyone has a suggestion, I'm certainly willing to entertain them...
And on that note, I think I'm gonna head upstairs in a bit. Do a little reading before bed. I'm really getting into Tailchaser's Song, which is totally
shatterpath's fault...
