Quick Samhain post...

I'll do this in far more detail tomorrow, and with pictures... For now, I'm gonna c/p my status updates from facebook today... In chronological order...

• ariestess just finished writing the first draft of an essay for possible publication in an anthology about coming out of both the rainbow and broom closets. *crosses fingers for publication*
  
  
• ariestess is disgustingly dirty and itchy and waiting for Jenn to get out of the shower so I can take one. But the major moving of furniture & the bulk of the vacuuming in my room is done. The rest of the stuff will have to wait for tomorrow...
  
  
• ariestess is now all clean, hair neatly braided, and waiting for Jenn to finish doing her kitchen witchery so we can sage the house and usher in the new pagan year. The best part of doing this? I harvested the sage myself this summer when we were out at Glass Butte collecting obsidian and apache tears. Good juju, my friends, damned good juju...
  
  
• The house has been smudged, inside and out [and all the pets/humans], with sage and juniper that we harvested. I did a little divination tonight and worked on/consecrated a couple of new tools for my altar. This has been a damned fucking good Samhain!

I'll certainly have more in depth stuff to say tomorrow, as well as probably posting about the divination I did tonight re: NaNo this year...

But for now? It's bedtime for the Spotteh...
