Quick Update, a Couple Coords, and Accessories...

Remember how I've been working a lot of overtime? That may be drawing to a close. Which is both a good and bad thing. Good in that we've gotten caught up on things and that I get to go home at my normal time (about an hour earlier). The bad is that my paycheck will be a bit less. But I'm fine with all that. More time to relax at home and snuggle up with the boyfriend ;-)

Wore casual sweet lolita with a red x blue holiday theme.

Full description of coord: Golden flower headband, cream x golden x red present box earrings, red cutsew (Hello Kitty), golden x red "Key to my heart" necklace, blue candy skirt (Bodyline), cream x red strawberry knee socks, and blue slip-on shoes.
My dept at work was having a holiday luncheon, so I decided to dress up and be festive. I got a bunch of compliments such as: "You look so cute!" and "That's a cute outfit!" and my favorite "You look like a little cupcake!" Lol :-) One lady from another dept even wanted to take a picture of me. I obliged her while explaining that it was a japanese fashion. I'm not sure if she understood, but it was worth a shot.

Full description of coord: Black side headbow, silver ankh earrings, silvery x black "Vintage Garden" cutsew, silver star and moon ring, black faceted bead bracelet, black ruffled skirt, silvery sparkly leggings, white socks, and black slip-on heels.
Another "Casual Friday" at work. I wanted to wear something different from the usual t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers, but not be uncomfortable. So, I ended up using sweet style in combination with the punk to make it feel more elegant than scary. I can see now that the socks didn't match too well :-( I'll have to try and find some the next time I go shopping. Otherwise, I think it turned out good. Very comfy too :-)
