Hello!
My skirt and headbow set arrived in the mail the other day. I was a bit iffy about buying something that was handmade, but after asking a bunch of questions, decided to go ahead and purchase it. I am very impressed with how well they did in sewing everything. Almost like they were a professional or something. I made sure to leave them a glowing review :-)
Alice in Wonderland themed skirt and headbow set

Yesterday, I went to Fairport Canal Days with my sister. We both wore lolita. She went with a pink x pink ott/hime outfit (pink hairbows, Hello Kitty ears, silver tiara, silver hoop earrings, pink t-shirt with rose print, white pearl necklace, pink ruffled skirt, pink knee socks with rose print, pink slip-on shoes). Sorry, no pic of her. She didn't want one taken. I wore classic with a blue x brown theme. We wandered around and enjoyed yummy icecream at the new Moonlight Creamery.
Here's a pic of my outfit:
Full outfit description: Alice in Wonderland themed headbow and matching skirt, gold hoop earrings, brown short-sleeve lacy top with ruffled neckline, gold heart necklace, golden thumb ring, black purse (Victoria's Secret), brown x tan x white striped knee socks, and black low-heeled slip-on shoes.
This was an interesting outfit to put together. I could have worn it a few different ways because of the print being multi-colored. I decided to go for a more toned down look with a classic version. I wore mimimal jewelry and opted for darker colors to help show off the print. While the purse isn't exactly lolita-ish, I think it matched pretty well with the outfit. Well, that and it had room for all my stuff. Lol :-P I'm happy I got to wear my new skirt and headbow set.
