Food glorious food...
The one thing that it is hardest to come to grips with moving from Australia to Switzerland is the price of food. I picked up some steak for dinner the other night it was $98.00 (Swiss Franc) a kilogram and that was cheap steak. Almost $100 a kilo, at those prices even a carnivore like me could be convinced at the virtues of vegetarianism ( Read more... ) -
Winter shoes
I now have my first set of winter shoes since I was a small child in Canada. I was really quite proud of them ankle boots in leather with rubbery soles for walking on wet ground and lined in sheep skin with felt insoles, they are very comfy and warm. Well I have not posted here in a while, so now for the quick catch up in no particular order:- M moved back to Sydney
- A moved in
- I got an infeciton in my jaw and had much pain
- I spent two months in emergency management doing bushfire recovery work
- I went to Sydney for a weekend and cried looking out of the windows and seeing just how much was burnt.

The Age Harvest Picnic at Hanging Rock

A while ago, well six month ago I posted this... nothing has changed, in fact I think some things have become worse.
So on Friday I headed off to the Doctor once again and left with requests for pathology tests, two reffereals to different specialists and a script for various anitbiotic creams.
