It's a bright and sunny day
I'm working on addressing more cards. Hopefully my hand won't cramp up like it did earlier! There are so many cards... which I suppose I should count as a blessing because it means there's so many people we care about.
Nicky's been maintaining a lower blood glucose level the last few days - down in the normal range finally. I'm still hoping it's not too late to put his diabetes in remission. Which means I'm pushing the insulin levels to the point where I'm having to keep checking his blood sugars frequently to be sure they're not dropping too low (went down to 67 last night! Lower than my comfort zone, that's for sure!). His response to the insulin seems rather erratic, too, which makes it all the more difficult to regulate. But I'm hopeful. This morning he did a little kitty "skitz" where he ran around out of happiness.
Back to working on those cards - I have to go through a ton of library books due today when I need a break from the cards!
