Home again, home again, coughety cough
So I got to work and found out I'd just missed the "stay home, sick person!" phone call from the folks in charge of the reference desk (because I left early to stop at CVS for kleenex). So I went downstairs and bought an Odwalla "Citrus C Monster" fruit smoothie, which I have been craving all day (1000% of the RDA of vitamin C in every serving, and supposedly this 15 oz bottle is two servings) and came back home. I almost cried when E. met me at the office door and said "Go home!" You know I'm sick when I start bawling at the slightest thing like that. :P (It really did seem awfully quiet around there, and we have a grad student working at the desk who should be fine by herself since it will be very slow -- a lot of the undergrads have already left town for Thanksgiving.)
I have a billion things to do before I can leave town, but first I am going to finish my Citrus C Monster, and then I am going to nap. And then if I have any energy later tonight I will work on cleaning house a bit.
