Tunnel Prompt
It was the only way she saw, so she ran toward it. She didn't have a clue what she'd find on the other side or who she might find, but she had to keep running, keep moving... She had to try to live... to survive. She'd survived worse and Eric would come find her. Besides, she had the kids to live for as well. So, she kept running, through the tunnel and into a dismal setting. The sky was overcast... wherever she was. She wasn’t even sure she was in the same state at this point and other than her captors, hadn’t seen a living soul in the area.
Surely she would run into civilization sooner or later, because she couldn’t keep running indefinitely. But again, she had to try… the discomfort and fatigue threatened, but she pushed them back by force of will. They would last a short time. If she were caught and killed, that was permanent.
