Meg, this is like a 20 pind plane ride away from you, so if you have the chance you really should come visit. Everyone else has to pay many hundreds of dollars, Caitlin perhaps thousands, this should not deter you.
Major selling points:
1)I live 6 minutes from a mediterranean beach...by foot.
2)Museums devoted to Picasso, Miro, Chagall, Gaudi, Dali...i can't continue, I'm about to die of delight.
3)The Pyrrenes and hour away.
4) Uh, food?
5) Uh, wine?
6) Crazy festivals with human castles, fire breathing floats and stilt walkers, as well as copious tomato-throwing.
