After about two months of not taking Enbrel, I am giving in. They just took Raptiva off the US markets. I was on Raptiva for a year and a half and stopped taking it the beginning of December. I wasn't having any medical issues with it, but needed to switch to a new medication that could handle both my psoriasis and arthritis. I had my doctor's appointment yesterday, and I really don't have any answers. All of my blood work came back normal, including the ones that would normally indicate issues with my muscles. I have three more days to go before I can take my next Humira shot and yesterday I started noticing a lot more aching/pain coming back. I finally broke down last Wednesday and took my first dose of Humira, even though I was still sick, because the pain had become unbearable. On Tuesday, I was able to sneak an appointment in with my regular doctor because I was freaking out so much about how much pain I was in.
