In The Nick Of Time.
The first thing I did when I got up this morning, yes, even before putting on proper clothing, was go out to my garage and lug in the air conditioner. The project I have been putting off for weeks now, is finally crossed off my to do list. The air conditioner is finally in the living room window kicking out the most beautiful cold air into my house. Right now it's 88 degrees outside, but inside it's a lovely 75. This should make for a much happier Jennifer and I may just accomplish something inside the house on days like today, because I'm not whining and laying in a puddle in front of the fan. Even if I don't accomplish anything, I will be much happier while I'm laying around being lazy.
I've been longing to be out puttering in my yard the last few days, but haven't wanted to spend any time out in the heat. Perhaps this evening if it cools down enough, I can putter for an hour or two in the yard.
