Birthday wishes...and no school AGAIN...
First off - a very happy birthday to lithera ! May your day be full of love and laughter...
Secondly - apparently the recent storm - high winds and downpours this time around - has pretty much wrecked havoc in the town I teach in. We had yesterday off because there was no power, and we have today off because the police recommended we remain closed for safety reasons (namely due to the large number of trees/power lines that are still down). So...at least I don't have to worry about my A Days/B Days being out of sync any more...instead I get to bitch about the fact that they're going to add one day to the end of the school year, and take away a day of spring break (I'm pretty sure that's how it works). Great. Spectacular. Can't wait...
On that note - off to finish grading, then some fanfic writing...I have two more "Alice" fics and a commentary to get done in time for the April 1 deadline for the Winter Wonderland Quarterly Challenge at new_wonderland ...
