Time to post something a bit more upbeat!
Blwyddyn Newydd Dda!
London was fun. although it did not stop raining the ENTIRE DAY! no wonder everyone thinks it never stops raining here!
the funniest thing was that i left my house at 7am in around 10 cm's of SNOW! and we had to go down the dual carrigeway at 15 mph! and when i spoke to vicki she said they haden't had any! there really is a north south divide!
anyway i got my train alright, the underground was well confusing but thats just me - id have enuff trouble getting out of a paper bag! but i made it to the london eye to meet kendraaa and anna banana!
county hall's right next to it ! that where they hold all the manga and anime conventions! so now i know! mwah!
so we went on the london eye - mainly for the experience because with all the rain you couldnt really see anything. highlight was kendra making a film on her camara and saying ' hi y'all, i'm at the london eye, in london' tee hee crazee ladyeee
then we walked back to westminister to see 'big bill' and the abbey then i persueaded them to walk down to 'downing street' and then we found an italian cafe near there where we ate. expensive but then it was london and i expected it.
from there we went to see queenie in buckingham palace but she wasen't in :( i waved just incase she was pearing out the window incognito. visited a few touristy shops on the way and then began the palava of attempting to meet vicky.... ha ha
to cut a long story short we all met up in oxford circus eventually and then went to canbery street or something similar where i found a chealsea 2006 calander for me pa for 4 quid! whuu huu!
i then got dragged around many clothes shops before finally getting vicki to take me back to st pancras...
slept most of the way back and tried to dry out a little. but was a mucho fun day and it means now i wont get the ' youre from england and you've NEVER been to london?!!' thing.
in 2 days in PANTO! WHOO HOO!
and i fly back to ol' deutschland on the 5th (7am flight! arghhhh!)
i have so much to organise! i cant find my original copies of the learning aggreements for spain or germany! and i really need the one for spain! because they have *ahem* not recieved their copy apparently - even though i know they have!
because it all went together as one package application und alles - and they told me theyve got all that just not the learning agreements! grrr
anyway new years was pretty uneventfull. my sister came over because ian had to work. so i made pizza for tea and then made one for her when she got in.
sat and watched quite an amusing episode of never mind the buzzcocks
