Wanted: Servers.
On Sunday, June 1, I am catering a sit-down dinner for 380 people at the Adath Synagogue in Minnetonka (or Hopkins, whichever you prefer to call it).
We are short about 5 servers and I would love for anyone interested to contact me...the gig pays $10/hr cash starting at about 5pm and going until....maybe 10:30? 11? Possibly later, probably not any earlier. The work is fairly easy (putting salads and desserts on the tables, filling carafes, setting tables, bringing the plated foods to guests, clearing tables) but requires a lot of standing and a moderate willingness to put up with shit from people who *know* they're better than you (ok, not everyone is like this, but its a fairly common complaint amongst our waitstaff).
It will be hectic. Required dress code is standard black bottom, white top. wear comfy shoes.
it should also be pretty fun... this is a good chance to make some spare cash (and free dinner of salmon and grilled veggies and couscous) for an evening of work, and a chance to see me at work! ...what could be better?! (please don't answer that)
