(no subject)
Apologizing in advance to those watching both my journals, but this here be a cross-post between IJ and LJ.
Two or so hours left until I must go layover at my mother's, and I'm still sitting here in the middle of my bed, surrounded by things not yet packed, charging electronics (Nintendo DS, cell phone, portable DVD player, Kindle, etc.), and so much other stuff. I need to toss together an overnight bag of clothes to wear tonight -> tomorrow for the long haul rather than lugging in my monster suitcase, and just bleh.
From what I understand, my step-grandparents do not have anything but dial-up (if that), let alone cell phone signals up in the mountains of West Virginia, where I am being hied off to until Sunday (my soul, it already weeps lemme tell ya. I'm hoping that maybe oh maybe, they've stepped into the dawn of now and gotten some cable or wifi net that I can leech off of that nobody else has realized yet or something).
SO. The point of my rambling here, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone since I probably won't have the opportunity aside from the every so often drive down the mountain with my mother to check our phones for any messages missed from being out in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere. ^__^
Eat lots of turkey, doze often, and try to keep from being the headlining story at 11 for family massacres on the holiday! ♥
