Wherein She Has Something To Say
I'm not one for open posts (or here lately, any posts at all for I am lazy), if only because I tend to be a private person. I don't believe in using my journal as a soapbox as a general rule, but even I've gotten to the point -- I'm tired, people. This isn't directed at any one person or persons, this is just me getting fed up after this going on steadily for over a week.
After this post of mine, if I see any more wanking, whining, venting, what have you in regards to FG, FS or roleplaying in general -- I'm removing people from my friend's list. It's a simple request. Lock me from your posts if you have to, that'd be wonderful, thanks. I greatly appreciate it.
If you have something to say, say it to the damned person already. People are entitled to their opinions, you are entitled to use your journal as you see fit, yes. But I'm also entitled to check my LJ and not want to reach through my computer screen and throttle people.
Conflict cannot be resolved through locked, passive aggressive journal posts. If you've got a problem, talk to the damned person. E-mail or AIM. No one around here is that terrifying to deal with. Talk to them and be receptive to what they're saying as they will in turn be to you. Do it privately so that the world does not have to get involved in what should be private business between you and the person you're having an issue with. Everyone getting involved with everyone else's business is what is dragging the drama out. But this bullshit has been going on long enough, and really? All of this journal stuff is making it worse. I refuse to take part it in anymore. I don't care how long we've been friends, how long we've known one another. I will cull every last person off of here until I'm reduced down to comms alone if I have to to try and not dread checking my friend's list here.
Now, seriously? Be decent to one another, people. And have yourselves a wonderful Tuesday.
