Blerg! Who *does* that?!
Someone stole my laundry basket!
When I put my laundry in the washing machine, the dryer was in use. When I came back to check, my clothes were done and the dryer was still going. Then later, the dryer had stopped but the clothes were still in it. I came back to check periodically, but nothing was changing. Since I had some hang-to-dry stuff in there, I'd brought down the laundry basket, in which to carry back whatever couldn't go in the dryer, and I'd just left it there in the laundry room rather than carting it up and down the stairs each time.
I went to check again just now (three hours after I initially started the load of laundry), and the dryer was finally empty... and my laundry basket was nowhere to be found. Dude. Who steals a laundry basket? I'm going to hope it was an honest mistake... maybe whoever's laundry it was has the same basket and thought that he/she had left his/hers there for convenience. Maybe it'll be back when my drying is done... But I kind of doubt it.
I hope they don't steal my clothes too. I have new underpants in this load.
Speaking of, I accidentally picked up an extra-small with my mediums at the "5 for $25" table. Does anybody know anybody who wears extra-small underpants? Never been worn, obviously. They're just plain ol' underpants, not a thong or anything weird like that. Something like 94% cotton, 6% other stuff.
