Moved back on Friday. The drive down was uneventful, other than that gas costs ten cents cheaper here. Which was nice when I wanted to put some more gas in as soon as I got into town. It snowed and/or misted the whole way here, but the roads weren't bad. The construction on the main highway I take is done! So that was nice.
When I got here I saw a girl I know from Harlaxton, Nikki, trying to unpack her things, and talking to an RA. The RA left before I walked up, and the girl told me she was the RA on duty, the one I needed to get checked in. So I helped Nikki move her stuff into her room, because she's just down the hall from me. I brought my car to the lagoon while she was putting hers in a parking lot that wasn't full, and then she helped me with my things. I feel like I had more stuff, but that it was packed in larger packages, so it was heavier and more difficult to move in, but that it didn't take as long. Then she left to meet up with one of her friends she hadn't seen in a while, and I started to unpack my office supplies and desk things. I made my bed, stuff like that.
I was tired early, because I'd stayed up for the comeback the night before, and woken up early enough to go across town for lunch with Dad, before going back home, walking Ginger, and then going to say bye to Mom at work. Then I'd driven for three hours and some change, before moving in. So I was shupa sreepy. Couldn't sleep on the top bunk so I moved my stuff to the floor. Put it back when I woke up, but I wished I hadn't, because I wanted to go back to sleep. No one was here, and I didn't have anything to do but wait for people to get here so I could help them move in. I fucked with facebook and tried to upload photos.
Eventually Crystal called and I helped her with her stuff, and we made a walmart run for stuff we super needed. I needed notebooks, folders, and shower shoes. I got all of them, but they're in Crystal's car... ^^; We went back to her room, and hung out for a bit, before we went to go get dinner. I think we're going to get dinner again tonight, because the cafeteria doesn't open until Monday. As we were coming back to campus I got a text from my roommate saying she was out of the room, but that she was back, and she'd see me later tonight. Eventually we met up. She's really nice. We spent most of the night just talking about stuff, figuring out what to do with the room setup, getting used to each other. We moved my mattress to the bottom bunk, and we're moving hers to the top tonight. We're moving a couple dresser peices, and then I think we're done?
We went to sleep around three. And I had some really weird dreams...
In the first dream I remember, there was this crazy guy, who called three people out into the middle of nowhere to try to solve some math problem. Two guys and a chick, and the chick went crazy and started to talk in gibberish and riddles, one of the guys had no idea how to solve the problem, and was just angry about the crazy girl, and the second guy was a genius, and only couldn't solve it because it was a faulty equation or something, but finding that out kind of solves that it's useless and/or doesn't matter. But he tried to figure out the riddles the girl was saying. The first guy left, and the crazy guy disappeared, and the genius guy figured out that the crazy man was their father, and the three of them were half siblings because they all had different moms that the guy had kidnapped, but that escaped with them, but never went to the police and just hid for the rest of their lives. He was then very freaked out. Because apparently they all had crazy mind powers, the first guy just hadn't figured his out, or it was useless or something. And then the girl told the guy that they had another brother, who was waaaaaay more powerful than they were, and that in gathering them together and upsetting them all, their father must've been trying to catch his attention. And then she started playing with legos. And then she said that their brother was Jaejoong. And then there were cliffhanger sounds and a flashback to them when they were little and their crazy father being scary and weird. Everyone buy Jae was white. Idk how that works.
I think that was before the alarmclocks started going off or something, because I remember waking up long enough to realize it wasn't as dark, before I rolled over.
Then I dreamed that it was the middle of the night, and I was driving some country road to some weird, very modern and/or postmodern style house in the middle of nowhere. It was very white. Very narrow, but very long, one story, maybe a half basement thing? I think it was on a hill. And the second floor was just like a big patio. There was a middle aged Korean man, just chillin' in the kitchen, which was all white and had very large windows, and he told me "He's upstairs~" and I was cool with that. idk why he was there. But I went upstairs.
Jaewoo was there, a lot more attractive than he was the last time I saw him, but still super sweet and adorable. I sat down by him, and we talked about stuff, but we were both just looking up at the sky. I ended up sitting in his lap, leaning with my shoulder against him, and his arm around me. He started pointing out different constellations, and asking which ones I knew, if I knew the ones he was pointing out. Eventually he pointed at one of them and said "That one's Cassiopeia." And I just laughed and said I already knew that one. He stopped for a moment like he was thinking. And then he just rolled his eyes and smiled and said "You would."
In the dream it was clear that we'd been meeting like that pretty frequently, enough that we'd gotten to know each other a lot better. I smiled and I leaned my head against his shoulder, but for whatever reason, my cheek touching his skin made him all nervous and skittish. But we sat like that for a minute, and it was nice. But then I left because he was nervous and I felt bad for making him feel that way. When I went downstairs to leave and drive back the sky was starting to get lighter, but the older man was still in the kitchen, and he told me that Jaewoo was starting to get better, and not to worry, and to keep coming back. And I said that I would. And then I woke up.
