What do you do when you have squishy lovey feelings for someone, but you aren't in the same country? Firstly, that's not something you just blurt out and tell someone. Or rather, it's not something I just blurt out and tell someone. Secondly, it's not appropriate text/facebook message material. It's something that's more personal. But hey! Different countries. And not like, drive for six hours and cross the border into Canada kind of different country -- the twelve hundred dollar, twelve hour flight kind of different country. A country where the pressure to get married starts in the late twenties. And this someone is in his late twenties.

The simple answer, keep in contact, and talk as much as possible, find very subtle ways of letting the person know you're interested, in the hopes that they might not get married before you can get back. The problem there? Asshole never gets on facebook. He's never told me his email, so I can't do that. I can text him from skype, but he can't text back because you can't text a skype number. It's frustrating.

Only two more years until I can go back though... I guess I'll just hope that he remembers how the internet works and doesn't get married in that time. Going back to Korea this summer would be awesome. But I've got no money and no chance in hell. So I've just got that hoping thing on my side.
