Thank you for everyone who sent messages and called. I'm OK I wasn't on the bridge and neither was my family. I did however have a family friend who was and thankfully she'll be ok. She was out of the Hospital that night. I'm going to urge everyone I know to go out and donate blood. Minneapolis and the whole country are faced with a major blood shortage and While they did not run out of blood after the 35w collapse our supplies have been depleted. Those of you who know me well know I'm absolutely terrified of needles, but I still went out that night to find someplace to donate. I have my appointment to donate with Memorial Blood Centers for next week and I would strongly recommend that the rest of you also contact your local Red Cross or Blood center to make a donation.
