It's funny just watching what people will buy. You learn a lot about people. Yesterday, a couple came through with what must have been at least 50 (no exaggeration) boxes of Jello. And Dean Finkle dropped by to pick up frozen peas and a soda. With a $100 dollar bill. I now have the code 4011 ingrained in my memory, because everybody buys bananas. More thoughts to come.
4:30 to 9 tonight. I plan on being bombarded. Yesterday, I got das boot from the express lane because I wasn't going express enough when a real crowd formed and the manager swooped down with her superhumanly fast checkout skills and shipped me off to lane 4.
