OOC: Part of my house caught fire today... 9/17
... shit, it was scary .__.

Where it must've started...
It didn't go up very high, but it burned that part of the house pretty damn good... melted the water pipe and everything
Note that this was the side where my parents' bedroom is located~
Lost the window...
Not as bad as I must make it seem, but it was still pretty scary. If the woman hadn't come to our door on our way out to take me to work, telling us about the smoke in our backyard (I will never mistrust my instincts ever again, cause I DID smell it before we began to leave), we could've lost a lot more...
Thankfully, no one is hurt and we didn't lose as much as we could've. The most was the window, the water pipe, our wheelbarrow, and the tanbark lining the side of the house. All can be replaced. Relieved we didn't have to deal with exploding glass.
But can someone tell me how to treat smoke inhalation? I mean... I'm not so bad I need to see the paramedics or anything and I've been drinking water like no tomorrow since this incident, but my throat is still aching and such and I think it's from the smoke. Any way to household treat that? :(
