I just read JTHM [Johnny the Homicidal Maniac], by Jhonen Vasquez. It is awesome. Find it. Read it. Things will be different. yay!
Let's just say that this book made me finally "get" the idea behind graphic novels, and that 'comics' does not even begin to lend itself to said genre. Also, made me once again wish that I was artistic, a drawing genius, and not musical, a vocal misuse.

Would like to go back to the vegetarian thing, but I enjoy a good barbecue too much. A shame really b/c I can hardly stand the sight of raw meat anymore. Speaking of things I did for Lent - I'm still off the smokes. Clay is giving it up, so though I urge, I will not go back. We kind of keep each other from giving in. I told him I'd bake him something when he's been smoke free for 30 days. It's kind of a joke, but if he's off then I'm likely to stay off myself, and who wouldn't like a cake? or brownies or cookies? He's a health nut too. Not insane, but always buying "healthy" crap. for ex. I saw this OMEGA 3 bread in Wegmans and was like "there ya go honey! some new bread. it's all healthy and shit" <-- me joking around. so he smiles and pushes me and we go off to get beer, and wouldn't you know it? the lil' shit picks it up on our way back through and we end up trying it for lunch. well, i don't know all that much, but i do know that if i keep dating this character then i'm gonna end up eating healthy and working out - both consistently. damn him! i need to be LAZY! ..... ok, so we all know it's really a good thing... blah blah blah but whatever happens i am NOT giving into Grape-Nuts. ugh. cardboard crispies? no thanks!
