My mom went to the emergency room again two weeks ago for the same reason, because nobody's done anything about the cherry pit. A couple days later I e-mailed tons and tons of people asking if they had any idea of how to help. A few people did provide some help. Nate Miletta, my high school classmate, offered a ride to Syracuse if Mom had an appointment for a second opinion at an ENT clinic, and she did but it was cancelled because the doctors there are residents and the clinic says that they're not qualified enough to give a second opinion. That was a blow. A week later, Mom had an appointment with her doctor, who scheduled an appointment (finally) for more tests, such as an MRI and an ultrasound to prove the thing is there, so that it can be removed soon. She continues to be having trouble breathing, eating, swallowing, and so on, and nothing's been resolved through pretty much the entire summer, and now I'm going back to school in a week, and if I have to accompany her to appointments (which I always do) I'll have to miss early grad school classes. I still haven't even officially picked my courses yet. I have looked at the courses available, but I don't want too much redundancy in my schedule, and I still don't know the right combination.
I made three colossal errors on my site this week that have now all been fixed, but meant that I won't be able to finish what I hoped I would be able to finish on my site before returning to school. First, I overwrote one cell in over 3000 rows of data. Next I deleted an entire year of data (which only took me a day to enter, and which I was able to partially restore since it hadn't cleared from cache.) On Friday, I overwrote one cell in 8000 rows of data, which took four days to recover from. My site is functional now, and I have learned about backing up SQL databases (just now, I didn't fully understand exporting before...)
