Eep! Only two weeks left until AX! I need to get cracking on my cosplay sewing and anime watching. Speaking of, Reborn has just introduced I-Pin, the Chinese character who uses the smell of garlic to fling opponents through the air and periodically explode. I do not understand, but she seems nice enough. Tsuna, unsurprisingly, continues to be completely reactive and an idiot. Maybe during the fabled it-gets-better episode 20 Tsuna gets killed off and replaced by a member of his supporting cast - any member. (Except Reborn, of course.) I have resorted to amusing myself by picking out quotes that are far more entertaining out of context and screencapping them.
On a completely different topic, this is the funniest thing I've seen all day. Brainiac 5, is there no end to your laughter-inducing shenanigans? Too bad he and Invisible Kid seem to have broken up as of two or three reboots ago. (I don't even know what's going on anymore. Saturn Girl and Lightning lad have kids now or something? And they've been kidnapped? Which I guess means he's not dead anymore? I'm so confused.)
ETA: I really want to like this Dino character, but the stockholm syndrome is disturbing me too much. "Yes, I used to be useless like you Tsuna, but thanks to Reborn's ceaseless abuse look how awesome I am now! ...Provided there are some Italian guys in suits around, anyway." I do like his water-absorbing pet turtle. ^-^
ETA2: Just as I'm thinking "Hey, an episode about Lambo!" Reborn decides that, in addition to lecherous doctors (ugh) what the show really needs is yet more toilet humor. ::sigh:: I think even if I were in intended target demographic, I'd be tuning out by now. How did this thing even survive long enough to get good? Very indiscriminating Japanese children? Nothing else on but Enka marathon reruns? How?
