You know, I was certain then when I saw the ring in 203 that there was no way it actually meant what I first thought it meant (that is, Watanuki was in some obscure way proposing to Doumeki), though the arrows on the band meant it was clearly something special for him. But now, in 204, Doumeki's first inclination is to put it on his ring finger on his left hand, and then complain about the fit on that finger. Multiple times.

In shallower news (or not? really, all my xxxHolic thoughts seem to be shallow), Doumeki is really rocking that coat. Oh, and the plot's advancing a bit, but who cares? Watanuki gave Doumeki an engagement/protection ring for his birthday, and that's what's really important.
