things are getting even better
So last night Matt asked me if I liked Salmon, and since I do, he made me a fancy home cooked meal. It consisted of grilled asparagus, with grilled raisins, teriyaki salmon, and saffron rice, it was by far the fanciest and most delicious meal anyone has ever made for me.
Today, we had to take a trip to Salinas for work, to deliver paperwork about farm irrigation research, I tagged along, and from there we decided to drive to Monterey for lunch. We had a really nice and romantic lunch on the wharf in Monterey Bay. I can't believe how awesome Matt is, its like the living dipiction of all the things I want in a guy.
-he loves to travel, and dreams of traveling more for recreation
-he bikes, runs, and even does races-but at the same time he isn't crazy about it, he is like me and just enjoys being outside-even though we are both not very good
-he loves to cook, and he enjoys reading about the science behind cooking
-he doesn't care for watching sports
-he is into hiking
-he loves Thai food
-he likes books
-he knows how to fix things-cars, tractors, household things
-he is close to his family, and often helps them on the pistachio farm
He is so cute, he says things that are kinda quirky, but i think its because he grew up on a farm, and never really lived in a city until college.
So he invited me to go to Universal Studios themepark with his friends and him followed by drunken debauchery in Hollywood, of course I said yes. This week cannot possible be any more awesome. I can't believe how lucky I am, I had no idea that I would be doing all this a week ago, let alone be with an awesome guy.
