ok, I'm gonna dye these shitty blond streaks out of my hair as soon as I can because I look awful and blond hair and dark brown hair just do not work together and the hair dresser should have not put blond like i asked and this is a really long run-on.

haha, humiliating moment: I always call my mom "kitty" for some reason. I have ever since I was little. Sometimes, "kitty" becomes "bissi" because bissi means "cat" in arabic. Well, we're standing in the middle of the street (which is sorta crowded), and I mean to call out to my mom, but I combine the words "kitty" and "bissi" into "KISSI" which is a really, really bad word in Arabic. For example, there's this phrase "kissi immik" which means "fuck your mother" or literally (as I was once told), "your mother's pussy." Immik means mother, so you draw your own conclusions as to the meaning of kissi. Yeah. Needless to say, everyone in the street stared at me strangely. I'm awesome like that.

There's something really fun about Lebanon that you don't see in the US. For example, my mom and I were walking yesterday on the Corniche (this boardwalk next to the sea, basically), and since it was Saturday night, there were a lot of young guys hanging around. anyways, gets about 25 meters in front of where my mom and I were walking and yells out, "God, please send me someone beautiful," clearly aimed at my mom and I. Haha, I think things like that are cute. As a response, my mom was like, "God send you yellow fever." But see, that wouldn't happen in the US, and if it did, I'd be creeped out. But that's Lebanon, so it makes it OK.

it's so so so so hot here. haha, look at how cute the "hot" smiley is.

also, I'm developing a strange love for kids. not michael jackson strange, but I'm suddenly really, really fond of them. I used to hate kids, but now I love them. The neighbor has a baby, and I swear, I could pass the entire day just playing with the baby. eek, maternal instincts.
