Dodged a bullet..
Both Troy and the boys dodged bullets today.
Troy's leg is healing nicely. He went to the doctor again today who found the veins to have much less infection than they did on Thursday. The doctor also ordered an Ultrasound should things turn bad again. The result is, I am no longer worried he will die, and even let me do one round of paint ball with the boys.
Tonight was AJ's birthday party. The boys were invited to go paintballing with them. It was amazingly generous of Fi to include us. At the end of the day (or week) I believe she has spent nearly $1000 ib AJ's birthday. While that seems extravagent, it is affordable for her and a beautiful way for her to spend her money - on a memorable day for her son.
In the morning we went to Herrick Lake and took some great pictures for our fall letter (as opposed to Christmas cards). We may do it again tomorrow in order to include the dog.
I have officially started Christmas shopping. I like to be finished by Thanksgiving so that I can truly enjoy the holidays.
