Can't believe its been a week since I flew back from England. I think my body is finally adjusting. During my fun filled adventure exploring the Lake District area, I detoured down to Birmingham for Chevron 7.6 for a weekend with my friend Jan. Way bigger con than I expected and long waits in lines but it was worth it to me Richard Dean Anderson. I was a big MacGyver fan back in the day and of course Stargate. After meeting him, I came away really liking RDA and appreciating his career. He's made the most of life that's for sure. He also gave it all to the fans which I'm sure drove the organizers of the con a little crazy. Hopefully those in the later groups got their autographs and photo ops. He just wanted to talk to everyone and personalize and message autographs...slowed things down a bit;) The rest of the guests were great too. Gary, Dan, and Teryl are always fun and I enjoyed seeing them again. All were very entertaining especially RDA and his quirkiness. He's in semi retirement and seems to be enjoying it.
