My last daily daily draw, four cards popped out, and had me assuming that they were meant for that day. However, I found that they really didn't illustrate that day at all. So, the next day I took the bus to see my friends, leaving my tarot cards at home. I ended up bumming around and now, after three days, I've finally come home. At some point, I saw my cards and thought "I pulled four cards last time. I've been out for four days..." so I looked back at the cards that I pulled and realized that they all related pretty well to each day.
Wednesday
Four of Wands: This was a really good day. My boyfriend biked up to the bus stop in the rain just to give me a jacket and coffee, I got to see an old friend, and the boys made a hookah out of a pineapple.
Thursday
Five of Pentacles: This day, my boyfriend got sick and had to call out from work, which meant missing out on hours. Normally this card would be a bit melodramatic for something like this, but in this case, his virus was pretty bad, causing him to throw up all day.
Friday
Tend of Swords: Having the symbolism in the cards turn up literal in real life is always odd for me. On this day, a friend of mine accidentally injured himself with a freshly sharpened knife, and got a pretty deep wound from it. Along with that, he really didn't want to go to the hospital, since he didn't have health insurance.
Saturday(today)
Ten of Cups: As I described before, his card gives me that cathartic feeling, despite it looking like a new beginning. In this case, we got both. My boyfriend got fired from his job for calling out one too many times and accidentally missing a shift. He was furious and also worried about what he would do, until I reminded him that his old job at the corner store was still waiting for him. His old boss was practically begging him to come back, and even offered an Assistant Manager position. Even after he left, they never took him off the payroll, so it's like he never quit. So if he goes back and gets to be a.m. he could get higher pay, more hours, and possibly get me a job there as well. I like to chalk that up as a happy ending.
