It only takes the occasional comment to remind myself that I'm on the fringe of a lot of situations. Sometimes, that's saddening, other times, I'm actually glad to be outside of it all.

In other news, I make absolutely amazing potato salad.

When I moved away from Memphis, I left a lot behind, including some of the best friends ever. It's a long way to travel, so it's no surprise that I haven't gone back, and chances of any of them coming out this way are slim. Funny to have a convo that results in the realization that someone you know knows someone you know. Funnier still when you realize you both dislike said person, and end up swapping stories about their behavior. The funny dies a little when you find old comments/posts from said person trashing you.
