Headed out to the Mr. and Ms. Oregon State Leather Competition tonight. Good times, lots of fun people, and an excellent sense of community. So, hit the Hollywood Theatre with cybergremlin and matrixleap to see The Wiz and had a blast. Man, I haven't seen that in something like 25 years; I'd forgotten so much, it was damn near new to me. Had fun grooving along and making fun of the 70's and just generally enjoying the company.

Spent a chunk of the afternoon finally watching all of G.I.Joe: Resolute, and, hot damn, it was pretty good. Yes, you still have masses of soldier types shooting and hitting no one, and yes, the ninjas are still there (which, while very cool, never sat well with me in a military setting). Still, in the end, Warren Ellis is still The Man.
