A long hot day at work was followed by a stormy evening, followed by a long, hot, humid night...during which the AC first went bad and stopped working, then the whole house's power died. It has been a less-than-stellar night...and now it's a humid hot morning and I have to work from open to close today. Yeah, wonderful. Feeling great.
Background check still had not come back, as of mid-day yesterday, so no clue as to my work status or what they want to do about Sunday, when I was supposed to handle the place alone. Can't do it (officially) if things haven't cleared. No clue what is taking so long.
On a good note, the movers called and confirmed that they are delivering next weekend.
