言い訳ばかり
It's been a couple of years since I first started buying anything in sight that was rumored to be yuri-related. It was in fact in the very first order that I was shown how that could backfire. I accidentally bought two fancomic anthologies (which hadn't been labeled as such at jpqueen; I thought they were original stories) based on a series of which I had never even heard before. I don't usually buy fancomics (as I'm a big "officialdom" freak), but I certainly don't regret having been introduced to this particular series (although I still would have found out about it later from Yuri Shimai, which was in my second such order).
This is all well and good, but there's another caveat emptor issue: twice so far I have accidentally bought some rather "ayashii" stuff. Apparently amazon isn't very consistent about categorizing its merchandise. And, yes, you know me-I not only didn't bother to get rid of them, I actually read through both of them. The former had a real downer ending; the latter turned out to be the first half of a series, and there was enough story that I'm actually wondering what happens in the sequel (other than the obvious selling point).
By the by, the latter book happened to have another character named "Chizuru" (who fits with my previous generalization)-although, due to odd Romanization throughout, it's listed as "Chizzle." At least I have to give props for not reversing the name order.
