Sizzling Finch
My honey is here again! It's pretty much been the only thing that got me through the long but short weekend. I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders and I'm not at all excited about the event. I want it to all be over really. To not have that oppresive date looming over me like a fat pig or something.
I've rediscovered the beauty that is Pandora radio again because of all my work shifts at the Hamlin desk, and they actually have Pentaphobe on their system. So I've been introduced to groups like Smadj and Mamma Gravy, which is super cool and reminds me of my lankagypsy starsisters, who I miss to pieces at this point.
I'm really proud of myself for getting so much done this weekend, but I felt sick today so I feel like I took four steps back from everything else. Moving took up way too much of my time and took up way too much space, and I couldn't work on the things that needed to be done during my week of down time because I was living out of boxes. I really don't understand why we couldn't have a set move date so I could avoid that whole thing, but the past is past now.
I've been able to do bits of work here and there with my dance top. Lady was good enough make up a really cool design with beads while we finished Cowboy Bebop the other night so that saved me a lot of time of staring at my top and wondering what to do next. It looks super cool and unique now, and I've been able to do the added touches in record time! I just hope it looks done by the time the event is upon us, and that's actually warm enough for me to parade around in it.
