it was a kind of aquarium.  they were keeping the leopards in an enclosure, the way people do, several layers of plants and rocks and fake caves to retreat into, with a moat at the bottom to separate the leopard from the visitors.  but the moat was where they were keeping the giant squids ( Read more... )

sedesdraconis built a wonderful house.  it was huge, a graceful three-story-high circular foyer with an immense chandelier, the front wall entirely windows with deco piping, casting warm light on the creamy marble inside, the right side upon entering the foyer was occupied by sd's laboratory and quarters for a madman and a race of aliens SD was ( Read more... )

i was watching the last Batman movie, and the Joker was doing something in the arctic.  when the movie went on, they changed the set to Haiti or Tenochtitlan or somewhere hot, out of respect for Heath Ledger, and they changed the actor playing the Joker to Sydney Poitier (or a different older, slightly built black guy.  i'm not completely sure what ( Read more... )
