Note to self: When setting out for a long long walk with your cell phone and ipod, do not stick them in your pockets if you happen to be wearing pants that are a size too big because said electronics will collude with gravity to depants you.
I spend most of my walk trying to hold up my pants, but I was determined to keep walking because I ate too much candy today and the sun was going down so I need to walk at that very moment and quickly! I went to the arboretum, so there weren't that many people there. This allowed me to let the pants slip a big and then hike them up when I saw someone coming. I'm not used to the pants sliding down thing. I usually count on my hips to do the holding up job, you know?
Second note to self: If it is dusk and you are going for a long walk in part because you feel bad about your appearance and lack of a romantic mate, perhaps choose an alternate route that does not pass through the arboretum since that is where all the happy couples like to go to hold hands and make out. Particularly avoid this if you are listening to Death Cab for Cutie on the depants-ing ipod of humliation.
On the plus side, I saw a bunch of bunnies, including the cutest baby bunny ever and also some tiny ducks.
I am right now wishing that there was some part of North and South that I hadn't seen yet, because I really really could use some Richard Armitage right now.
I should go, for tomorrow I must learn all of statistics for my archaeological stats class (which has been rather disappointing so far, if I do say so myself).
